MS400 - Marine Systems Certification - Astoria WA

Notes: This four day systems course will draw key information from 21 different ABYC Standards as they apply to boat component selection and installation. Best industry practices will be a part of the body of knowledge that a certified technician will be expected to be proficient in regards to Potable Water Systems, Waste Water Systems, Tankage, Plumbing, Electrical Installation, System Monitoring, Compressed Gas Systems for cooking and heating, Hydraulic Systems, AC and Refrigeration Systems, and Pump Systems. Each student is shipped a study guide upon registration.

The class concludes with a 200 question certification exam.

Please be sure to bring your copy of the ABYC Marine Systems Certification Study Guide with you or call our office to make sure you have a copy prior to class.

This ABYC class will be held at a local area classroom location. We often have names of local hotels that we can recommend. Call our office for that information. Call the hotels directly to make your room reservation. Rooms are at a first come first served basis.

Class Note: You may bring the ABYC Standards Manual "Standards & Technical Information Reports for Small Craft" or CD Rom/Laptop to class. All Standards discussed will be contained in your Study Guide. You must bring your Study Guide to class or make arrangements to obtain a Study Guide prior to the class. The class Study Guide and other class information will be shipped to you after you register for the class. Please call ABYC at 410-990-4460 if you do not have an up to date class Study Guide available.
